Perspective
A downloadable game for Windows
This game is more of a commentary on mental health, and how the world can look different through whatever lenses / experiences you see through.
It is framed as a puzzle platformer, where your characters are also blocks that you use to help each other get through the level to the next door.
Characters:
The dark gray character has depression. They can't notice pleasant things, or color as much, and their special ability is taking naps. They have less energy (can't jump) and they feel the ceiling is closer to them than it is and can't hear the melody of the music.
The yellow character has a phobia / panic attacks related to the pink things as shown through the music changes and sprite swaps. Their special ability is dashing.
The cyan character has dysmorphia, and has trouble perceiving their actual size. Their special ability is jumping high.
Controls:
•WASD to move and jump (if able),
•Spacebar to use the special ability.
•Tab to switch characters
It is currently very buggy, and I am sorry about that. Just lower your expectations. I have verified that every level is solvable. Just ask if you want help with any of them.
Anyone from Sweet and Power Sauce, I'm sorry, but I need little side projects to get me through the big one. Think of this as a prototype for a next thing

Seems super cute - but, as a little bug report, I couldn't get past the first level? Could pick up the key and get everyone to the door but couldn't find any way to interact with the door.
Hmm... I think it could be possible to get the door to register if someone walked away and back. But I should really check every frame if the characters are close enough. Thanks! I will try to update it on Monday.
Edit: I updated it
Ok, I updated it!
